Marissa Heavilin, COTA/L is a recent graduate from the University of Akron with a degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Physiology and earned her Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree at Lakeland Community College in 2022. Marissa has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings across the life span. She has previously worked with Bedford City Schools and Kirtland Rehabilitation and Care.

Marissa joined the Center for LifeSkills team in March 2023, and was drawn to the role because of the Center’s family-centered approach to therapy.
