Abby Hamilton received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2018 and went on to receive her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Gannon University. She currently works part-time at the Center for LifeSkills and part-time as a school-based occupational therapist at a local public school.
Abby’s pediatric experience includes working with children of all ages with a variety of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, various developmental disorders, sensory processing disorder, and more. As a new practitioner, Abby has entered the field of occupational therapy equipped with the latest and most evidence-based knowledge and a drive to provide the best care for her clients. She is excited by the thought of using her knowledge and a family-centered approach to help children overcome adversity and find success in the activities that are meaningful to them and their families.
In Abby’s leisure time she enjoys exercising, spending time with her friends and family, kayaking, volunteering, and enjoying the outdoors
