Annette Shirley joins our team as a licensed and certified occupational therapy assistant.
Annette graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and an associate degree of Applied Science of Occupational Therapy from Stark State College.
Since joining the C4LS, Annette continues to grow in her position. She runs our group therapy programs. She also works in the school setting, sees clients 1-1 and works with clients on job readiness. Annette continues to improve her knowledge of children’s development by receiving training including Brain Gym, sensory regulation, self-regulation and the importance of out door play.
Prior to joining our team, she worked in the medical field for more than 20 years providing exceptional customer service to all those she serves including doctors, therapists, patients, and their families. Although Annette has worked with a wide age range of clients, she brings with her a passion for treating children.
She is a 20-plus year volunteer at a local nursing home as well as her church, and volunteers for the Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board.
