Deanna Macioce, MS, OTR/L, a graduate of Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, has over 13 years of pediatric experience. Her journey as a therapist has allowed her to treat children of varying diagnoses and needs, including Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and overall fine motor and developmental delays. Deanna began her career working in Early Intervention, allowing her the ability to learn and understand overall child development. Since then, she has worked in sensory-focused outpatient clinics, as well as providing contract work for a variety of schools.
Deanna has enhanced her skills with a wide range of training in Sensory Processing Disorder needs, as well as fine motor skills and handwriting. She is trained and certified in Therapeutic Listening and Interactive Metronome. In addition, Deanna is the author of Southpaw Enterprises’ monthly e-newsletter, The Pawprint, providing suggestions and ideas for parents, teachers, and therapists working with children with sensory needs.
